Sports massage

Just wondering if anyone else gets a runny nose and a feeling of liquid in their ears when they have a massage? I'm not sure if it's normal :rofl:

.... This can't end well.

Also, my answer is no.

No, I don't get that. But I have been known to swear a lot. Unfortunately, once my massage therapist closes the door, even God can't hear my moans of pain when I'm getting a deep tissue massage (my musculature is horribly tight). I usually just bring something soft to bite down on, like a T-shirt or a face cloth.

Actually, deep tissue massage feels amazingly good despite being not that pleasant. But definitely worth the end result.

um, no.... :D But I have had a masseuse tell me before that after you need to take it easy and that people can have a reaction like yours. I personally have never had that reaction though....:)

Glad you are getting massage--I believe in it! :D I could go on & on but don't have the time right now--it does help our health tremendously to get massage.

I also studied it (although I don't have a license, regretfully, due to lack of funds at that time) and found many people seemed to have a need to *expel* excess liquid in their bodies in various forms: need for urination was the usual way, but I also experienced & saw runnny noses, sweating & need for defecation.

I admit you are the 1st I've heard of to get liquid in the ears. Do you swim a lot? You might want to get it checked to make sure it is OK.
olga p

I am not made or unmade by that which happens to me but by
how I react to that which happens to me
