Spinning

I have just started to attend spin classes.

It's funny actually, before my first class I thought to myself how hard can it actually be, I do weights, I run and I work very hard when I train....can't be that bad......WRONG! Ha! Ha!

I have never done anything as physically difficult as that.....who knew cycling could make you feel like you were dying :D

I am going to stick at it though.....I like the challenge............but please someone tell me it gets easier ?

Ah but keep going with it! I used to do alot of yoga, figured I had the body stregnth to move faster then I actually was able to do. Now I do spinning (3 years later) and I can go so fast I suprixe myself (in a good way) I still feel when I am about to start a class as if I am myself 3 years ago an unable to get half as fast as the spin instructor, now I can keep up with them the entire way through!

Also noticed now my heart rate actually goes up higher then 150 bpm and even up to 170bpm, where it rarely went above 140 when I used to do spinning a year ago- keep up with the classes, it does make a different and you'd be suprized at how fast you can improve!
