Spiderman 3 is awful. **SPOILERS**

So I watched spiderman 3 last night. Highest budget since the sixties.

So spoilers time :

Firstly, where was the character development? Just more a more villains, and what was with Sandman? Terrible.
So Peter Parker gets a black, cooler suit. So what? All being 'evil' did was pull him hotter girls, cause him to get rid of that slut, as well as kick some well deserved ass. The only bad thing he actually did, was hit MJ. But who cares?

Oh and why did they feel the need to have that shot of him in front of the American flag? Everyone in the cinema just let out a groan. Half the people walked out half way through. Tons of people cheered when it finished, but I took to trying to split uncooked popcorn seeds. Yeah I'm cool.

My verdict - terrible film. Great comidic value though. People comments at it etc.

Anyone else seen it?

my friend told me its great. but thats just him; he cares about the action and "awesome moves". -_- i anticipated that it would just be a lot more cool graphics and action. no real story...

Didn't like the first one. Only super hero movies I like are batman :) Well, not the crappy ones though...

That part with the flag sounds terrible.

Despite what the critics say, I really liked Superman. But yes, batman is easily the best out of the recent superhero movies.

And because he was actually human/not genetically modified. Also since Goku came along I've never been able to take Superman seriously ;)

The recent Batman was good, I hope the sequal will be better though. I loved "The Punisher" I thought that was a really good "super Hero"(though i wouldnt call him a SuperHero) show. I have liked the Punisher since the comic series so i might be a tad biased though. I think that came out in 03? or so.

Then i have heard good things about "Ghost Rider" any one see that?

I haven't seen Ghost Rider, but everyone I have spoken too has told me not to go and see it under any circumstances, even if my family are being held at gunpoint by the director.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was awesome, although I wish they would have split it into two movies and had more time for character development.

I saw Spiderman 3 the other night too.

I was more excited at seeing the hordes of hot women in the cinema foyer though lol.

-The end fight scene was pretty good, but it could have lasted longer.
-The female news reporter during the last fight scene imo was a pretty bad actress.

Any views on what enemies should be in the next spiderman if there is one?

I think they should put carnage in iv just read up he seems pretty cool cos he is superior to spiderman in ever way

"The Punisher" is one of the best Marvel Comics movie because it made more sense and looked more realistic(including the fight scenes). "Ghost Rider" sucked. The acting really sucked, the fight scenes were really bad and they made him seem too invincible(killed the suspense). It was like something that came out of a child's mind. "Blade" is one of my favorite Marvel Comics movies to watch.

I really liked Spiderman 3. I liked it MUCH better than the first two, kinda sucked at the end, but otherwise, it kicked ass. Cept for Tobey Maguire, he couldn't act in a third grade play much less a movie.

I'm a huge DC Comics fan, but in my opinion, Marvel had generally made better movies.

Batman Begins was good, I can't wait for the next. I haven't seen Superman, but if they ever do a Superman/Batman movie, they'd better get someone bigger than the shrimp who played Superman...

Christian Bale as Batman was bigger than Superman, how lame is that?

Spiderman 3 kicked some major ass, I don't know what you guys are talking about. The midnight showing made it awesome as well - I thought that the humor in it made it better than the first two and had some pretty quick but sweet scenes. Batman was great, but so was Spiderman 3 baby!

Yeah, badass except for-
the dancing, singing, Peter looking all emo, and the crying. Also, this was like some attempt to just throw in everything they could possibly cram in there. Venom and the Sandman were both extremely under-developed. Why is Gwen now being introduced instead of say last movie?

Why does Venom say "I am" instead of "We are" like in the comic. Why is Venom also a mirror of Peter? Why can't they stay with the comic book and have someone that actually looks like Venom does in the comic.

I hate it when comics turned movies suddenly veer off. I also think Kirsten Dunst sucks as Mary Jane and Tobey sucks as Peter Parker. Stunning visual effects don't make up for bad movies.

Yeah. Kisten Dunst really can't act. I understand where they were going getting Toby M to play PP ie. geeky etc. However watching the films you can't see what MJ would possibly want with PP when she has Harry Osborn around. Think about it, PP lives in a grotty 1 roomed flat, and is really geeky. Osborn is better looking, rich, and still a nice guy.

I thought that the dancing, singing, and Peter looking all emo was hilarious and so did everyone in the theater, we all knew it looked really stupid but that was what made it funny. Agreed at Kirsten Dunst sucking though.

The story is pretty basic. Spidey 1 and 2 were far better. :D Also, emo haircuts do not pull girls!

yeah true, what they hell were they thinkin?

spidey turns bad from an alien that melds into him so he turns into.....a emo.
****ing 2 hours of my life i wont get back, liked the other two aswell
