Sport soy..

Sport Fitness
hmmm, how is soy made into milk, then mcdonalds hamburgers are made of soy too.....what the hell is soy anyway?

Soy is an incomplete protein because it does not contain a full amino acid profile. It is often cheapened by manufacturers when they create soy products. In women of child bearing age it has shown to act as a birth control and for men to raise estrogen levels.

I'm currently on a maintenance schedule but still looking to gain lean muscle. I'm lactose intolerant so soy is my only option. My question is, does it have a significant enough effect to hinder progress?

i know it doesnt hinder gains, but definatly not as effective.. since ur lactose intolerant that means u cant have whey or casein mix???

Most whey proteins are lactose free-Bioplex, Isopure, Dymatize (I believe) come to mind immediately and certain ON proteins might be lactose free. And usually lactose intollerant people can handle whey just fine. You can always get an egg protien protein.

I'd skip soy if possible.

I really only have a problem when drinking milk itself, usually small quantites of dairy are not an issue.

Thanks for the help evolution.
