Some quick about best option(s) to lose lot of weight quickly

I have been trying to lose weight on my own for past several months with mixed success. I am a vegetarian but even then am overweight by at least 75 lbs.
I had best luck with magic Herbal diet and did lose quite a bit of fat but
1. Was not able to shake off weight at all
and
2. As soon as I stopped the programme, the fat is back with a vengeance.
I was wondering if any of you could suggest any programme/diet that can help me in losing weight quickly.
Any programme that really works in Toronto/Markham area would be best.
I am even thinking of joining some personally supervised weight loss programme but dont know where to start with.
Please suggest.
Will appreciate any advice.
 
There are ways to lose weight quickly. Honestly what is the point of going on some 'fad' program though? If you do not want to gain the weight right back again you have to make lifestyle changes so that you can maintain your new lower weight.

What is your definition of quickly? I was able to lose 25lbs in 12 weeks just by cleaning up my diet and a good exercise program.

If you need help I'd find a local trainer and ask them to give you an exercise program. I'd also find a good, clean meal plan. I'm sure others on this site can give you some great suggestions for meals. I try to stick with natural, unprocessed foods.

Try to eat less and every 3 hour. This keeps your metabolism up. Since you are a vegeterian i asume that the food you eat is healthy.

The problem is that my weight just does not move no matter how I starve myself. While it is a good idea to eat in chunks rather have a big meal, I am n ot sure if it will even register on the scale in my case.
I simply can't seem to lose weight and that is why was wondering if there is a sure shot way of losing 20-30 lbs quickly to get mental satisfaction.
Has anyone used a personal weight trainer? Are they effective?
Or does anyone know of a specific product or programme that can really make one lose weight rapidly even though temporarily?
 
Yes personal trainers do work. Even if you only go to one a couple times to learn the exercises and then just follow their program, that works well too.

Do you realize even if you do drop the 20-30lbs quickly with a fad diet that you more than likely not going to keep it off? What's the point of that? You're better off going on an exercise program and cleaning up your diet and losing 1-2lbs of fat a week. Doing that I was able to lose 25lbs in 12 weeks and it has now become a lifestyle change for me, especially with eating.

Basically if you make it a habit (lifestyle change) you will be able to keep the weight off for good.
