In particular Cottage Cheese. I pretty much stay away from the stuff because it is LOADED with sodium. How careful do I need to be with sodium? It seems to affect me like crazy if I have something like cottage cheese or tuna. I feel bloated and I'm up a few the next day because of water retention. is this an issue for anyone else?
 
I am very sodium sensitive so i totally feel your pain here. I really make effort to minimize my sodium intake. I use fake "salt" and Ms Dash stuff like that mostly for my cooking. The rule of thumb is no more sodium than 2000 grams a day, which is pretty hard to do sometimes I find. However the more water I drink the less it effects me. So I get in a good gallon at least a day.
 
doesnt sodium have the opposite effect as potassium or do they have the same effect? i know theyre both electrolytes or w/e...
try eatin a banana see if that helps at all
