Sport So I've put on 2kg

Sport Fitness
Who would think someone who's running 45km a week can PUT on weight  not happy at all with all the effort I'm putting in.

So I need recipes, things I can snack on that are HEALTHY and make me feel full. Obviously the fruit buns aren't going too well for me at the moment. Does anyone have any good recipes I can have that will help me refuel after running and also when I do weights? I'm freaking out here, I haven't gained any weight since my big 50kg weight loss and I'm scared I'm losing control.

You sure it might not be water weight from a previous carb heavy day?

Oh, so it's one of those conversations. My bad. I'm not as in touch with my feminine side as Phate.

Tbh I'm not sure anyone with boy parts is.

Well that's a thought, I've been having more pasta than normal but it might be in my mind but my thighs are closer together in the mirror than normal hahaha

Yea I think its more likely that its just extra water weight. If i have a carb heavy day, the next day i'll wake up 5lbs heavier. But then after 3 or so days its pretty much back to normal.

Beef jerky huh, I'll have to give that a try! Is it nice and chewy? For me it's all about the texture

You have no idea. Anyway, I'm actually currently in the process of experimenting with recipes you can make yourself - the commercial stuff is full of all kinds of garbage you don't want. DW has some recipes, but I'm attempting modifying some stuff I found (taking out all the unnecessary sauces), so I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going with just salt, pepper, and spices. Maybe some berry sauce I'mma make in the blender, but it seems like too much effort. I just eat whatever I want with it... so it's sort of like a chewy, not-gross version of a protein supplement. :)

It's clean, happens to be in my top 3 foods, and yes, is very chewy and satisfying. I love everything about it. Also you can make it from a number of different meats, but I like eye of round because it's lean and very cost effective.

Oh, and super convenient. It keeps forever, and you can just carry a bunch around with you. Never miss a meal.
