I lost 35 pounds from starting March 2007,(went from 255lb to 220lb) I'm about 6ft tall. It's getting really hard for me to go any further. I move a lot, I love walking, I do crunches almost everyday, Now I even started running on a boardwalk. IT DOES NOT SEEM TO HELP MUCH. Please someone give me a solution to my problem. Here is my picture, Please, I'm not trying to show off I just want someone to tell me what's the best for me with my body type.

I tell ya what...Im 5'9 and I was 250 lbs, and im down to 220 and cant seem to get any further..my diet is followed 100%, i lift weights 3x per week and i run 5 nights per week and the scale doesnt really wanna budge. I think you've hit your plateau. Your body has adapted to your new weight and now requires less calories to maintain your weight. In other words if your body used to require X amount of calories to maintain your weight when you were 255, you now require LESS than X to maintain your weight at 220. To beat this plateau you must change things up a bit..Maybe start some strengh and conditioning programs..maybe change your diet to include more/less calories....SOME people recommeding going off your diet once or twice a week and eat normal, to shock the body...but not too sure on that one... how many cals do you take in per day? Do you do any weight lifting?
 
haahah same here. WELL WAS.. Im 5'9 and started at 252 and went down to 222. That's when i hit the dang plateu and stayed there for two weeks. I didn't changed my workout by changing the routine and also i started eating a little bit more. Following week i lost 1 lb. Now im at 215.5lbs! wohooo !!!
