So i finaly got up and ran...

I'm just back from my first run (Yes it's taken me this long to get my ass out of bed).
I ran 2 miles. Before i even got to a mile i felt like stopping, but i forced myself to go on.

When i stoped i got a little fright. My legs were are jelly lol. I manged to do my stretches without fallen over, though.

I feel a little sick, but i guess that's just how unfit i've become. I'm very glad i ran because i had really, really bad muscular pain in my chest, back, left arm and neck (don't worry i had it checked out by a doctor). That's gone for now.
I'm also coughing. Any ideas what this is all about? Or is this my body's way of saying i'm unfit?

I know i'm very unfit, but i feel i gained something today. Not sure what it is though.
 
Sounds like you pushed yourself pretty hard, congrats. I wouldn't recommend going that hard too often though specially if you're just starting.

But totally wrecking yourself every now and then feels good, at least I think so :)

The coughing and the weakness will go away as you get fitter. Eat or drink something sweet and something salty for recovery
