So how much running do I need?

Hello,

I am a newbie and recently I have started running. I run daily 1 mile a day on the treadmill at 6.0 Speed (if that helps). The stats counter says i burn off only around 170-180 calories and 54 grams of fat.

I weigh in at 158 and I am 5'6.5" (17 years old).

How much do I need to run to "stay in shape". I still see a little bulging stomach :( .
 
Make sure you're eating healthy and often.

Try running 3-4 days a week with a couple days of rest, change the intensity everyday for your body doesnt get too used to it. Oh and don't bother with those counter things on those, they're usually wrong.
