I used to be 205 two years ago at my heaviest. I lost 30 pounds in about two months, and then I was stuck on this weird two year plateau. I finally started kicking this weight in the butt last month and began cycling for at least 40 minutes daily, as well as some weight training. I also got over the idea that food is a fun thing I get to enjoy and now I think of food as something to keep me alive. This has helped me eat more veggies and go out less. In the past month, I lost two pounds (now I'm 168) and lost 2 inches around my waist and 2 inches around my thigh. I have a goal to be 140-145 by April of next year, since the pounds seem to come off really slow. I promised myself a total wardrobe makeover if I can do it! I just needed to share how excited I am by the inches lost. I can really tell in how my pants fit.
