So close

hey folks, i'm newly 17 years old, i've lost 45 pounds in the last year. i have about 10 pounds left . this is where i need some help. 17 years old 6'1'' i consume 2100 calories a day, i lift weights and do cardio exercise 4 times a week. but yet the last ten pounds is just simply not coming off, in the past 2 months i haven't seen any changes, all the weight left is located lower abdomen(and i do core exercises). i'm in good shape, ( i can run 3 1/4 miles in 20 minutes) where are the flaws, what's keeping me back from my ultimate weight loss goal( flat belly) any insight VERY appreciated.

First, congratulations on your success!

What's your current weight? It might be that your body is telling you that you are at the right weight for your height/age/activity level.

Barring the above, you might try zig-zagging calories. Here's a link that will help you:

Good luck!

I have the same issue. I have about 10 lbs left to lose and I feel pretty happy exept for about an inch above my navel down to my hip bones. I have 4 out of 6 in my 6 pack lol. Just keep chugging away and working hard. IMO when you get closer to goal protein intake and weight training is more important because you want to be sure that what you lose is fat and not muscle. There is no simple solution, you just have to keep working. Eventually as your BF% drops it will have to go away.

lol me and you are in the EXACT same situation, i have 4/6 abs showing as well..i think what i'd really like to know is how could i switch up my cardio to give me a really good workout?

HITT is a good way to blast some fat. I have been doing some Tabata intervals. Which is just a version of HITT. Jump rope is good to and actually pretty fun.
