Wow, I must be a glutton for punishment. Cleveland had about 15 inches of snow dumped on us this past Fri/Sat. I used the snow blower Friday night to clear off the first few inches that had fallen.
Saturday morning, when I went to clear the drive, I thought the snow was light enough that I'd do the drive by hand so I could get a nice workout from the chore. HA, an hour and thirty minutes later, I was completely spent. I came in, had lunch, took a long hot shower and crashed for a good 2 hour nap. I'm still feeling it today. I'm not sore, my muscles just feel like they got a REAL good workout. According to fitday, that hour and thirty minutes of shoveling was worth about 600 calories. I'm telling you, they need to invent a gym machine that simulates shoveling snow, because that was one heck of a workout.
Here's a few pics from the storm.
