Sport snacks to add protein?

I'm trying to add some protein to my diet, and cut some carbs. as snacks i eat quaker breakfast bars, so i was thinking of cutting those out and add part-skim string cheese snacks. but does the cheese add more fat than i want for the amount of protein gained. what are some suggestions about adding protein to my diet in places other than breakfast or dinner, and i'm starting to drink a protein shake after my workouts in the afternoon. thanks in advance for any and all advice!
 
cottage cheese
chicken breasts
tuna
 
low fat string cheese isn't a bad snack idea if that fits easily into your schedule.
enforcer names good ones too.

a protein shake plus some fruit makes a good snack that's almost zero fat, and the carbs aren't processed.
