Sport smuckers natural peanut butter

Sport Fitness
When I went grocery shopping, it was overwhelming trying to figure out which peanut butter to get. From what I could tell, they all say they are all natural so I looked at the ingredients and picked one that only had two ingredients: peanuts, salt. Smuckers creamy peanut butter. It has good flavor and I liked it but it does take a little bit to get over the fact that it has to be mixed good because the oil seperates. (Not a firm peanut butter) I'm use to the jelly running over the side of my bread but not my peanut butter. Yes, I know that peanut butter has a lot of protient but it also has a tremendous amount of fat. If I eat two tablespoons of it, there is 16 g of fat out of my 40-50 grams for the day. Is there a peanut butter out there that is better than the one I chose?

My choice would be Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter - with only one ingredient - peanuts :)

natty peanut butter with some salt is ok, but peanuts and salt should be it for ingredients.

peanut butter IS fat (hence the use of 'butter' in the name ;)

natty PB is used as a source of healthy fats. the fiber and protein in it is just an added bonus.

if you put it in the fridge, upside down, the oil won't need to be remixed again, after the initial mixing.

Does the oil seperate also in yours? I noticed that there is no salt in yours and also, the fiber and protien is higher in yours. I only bought a 16 oz jar so I will soon have to buy more and will try yours next time. I didn't see it at shop rite. I will have to look around for it. Thanks.

The oil seperates in natural pb, that's pretty much just what it does. I have seen a few kinds of "natural" that don't seperate or require refrigeration, but they have more than just peanuts and salt in them.

Smuckers Natural is the only peanutbutter I eat. I love it. When I get it, I just mix it up really really good and stick it in the fridge and I never have to mix it again.

I eat Nature's Promise Organic Peanut Butter. I mix it once, keep it in the pantry and it's totally fine. It contains just peanuts and salt.

i already posted this in another pb thread...not sure why theres two but ill just repost in here as well.

actually so far ive found that the two worst tasting peanut butters are both healthy kinds i guess im not surprised it seems to be that anything that tastes good is bad for you and vice versa.
btw the pb's are
omega smart balance
peanut wonder
