Small white pebbles in power?

A few days ago I bought some Mass Fuel Xtreme (Twinlab) from a local Vitamin shop in my area. I buy all my stuff there, but this is the first time buying this particular brand of sup.

When I opened it up, I noticed all these very small white pebble things in the mix...what the hell are they?

I'm guessing they are supposed to be in there, and they don't taste like anything...but...what are these things?

Anyone know?
 
I've seen that in many powders, though usually you can only see em in chocolate flavors. its usually added amino acids.

I get those when I make a shake with my chocolate protein and add in L-Glutamine.
