Slogans only

Going out on a limb here. I understand that what people use to motivate themselves differs from individual to individual, however let's share them b/c I am curious as to what drives people emotionally (whether it be positive or negative). Here are a couple of mine:

- Pain fuels my fire
- Someone wants you to fail
- Are you going to give up again?
- How bad do you want it?
- Pain is just weakness leaving the body
- To all you naysayers....(4 letter word, starts with F) you
- Take the pain. Rep by rep. Set by set. (off the net somewhere)
- Paying my dues (off the net somewhere)
- Hungry, Committed, Dedicated....
- I will NOT give up
- SHUT UP AND SQUAT!

Someone had "Shut and lift princess" in their sig here, I always liked that one :D

For some reason every time I'm doing something and its getting tough, the old SEAL saying "The only easy day was yesterday" creeps into my head.

And I have this Roosevelt quote on my living room wall (I'll get another one done for my gym once all the bits are in)...

It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better. that roosevelt quote has got to be the largest run-on sentence ive ever seen in my life. But a good one nonetheless
