Hey, I saw Slim in 6, saw it on TV, researched about it, and now I am waiting for it in the mail. I cannot wait to start it. It has a 6-week guarantee, so I have nothing to lose but weight. Just wondering if any of you have tried it ? Your thoughts on it. Thanks a bunch :)

Hi there LL,

actually I swear by Slim in 6. That program has always been a great jump start for me. I started doing Slim in 6 again betw/ APril and May and within that time I loss ~18lbs. Now let me be frank in saying this program is difficult and if you stick with it for 6 weeks, you'll most definitely notice a change in your clothes. If the moves are too difficult just listen to Debbie and modify them. If you haven't worked out in a while, be prepared to be sore the following day. Just make sure to get adequate protein, hydrate yourself and stretch afterwards. Good luck.

hey MsG! My friend has used slim in 6.. she said it's hard and very rewarding... I personally haven't experienced it but she looks amazing.. i think she lost about 25 pounds, or maybe it was 20.. either way he really is shaping out and is completely inlove with her body lol

I wish you teh best and keep us posted!!

Hey there AEL,

I'll have to agree with your friend... it's a real bitch to keep doing. There are a lot of squats, donkey kicks, and lunges, so if you aren't a big fan, then get another program. haha Also, the music can get a bit boring, so just fyi LL.... try creating your own playlist so you don't get bored. There's an option to turn the background music off. I usually do that, because after a while you can only handle so much "elevator workout music." hahaaaa If anything, I lost a LOT of inches as opposed to actual weight... and my face was the first thing to really change. Give it a try and if you don't like it, just return it... or sell it on ebay.. hahaaa Once again, good luck and congrats to starting up a workout!

slim in 6

I have it too, but never did it the 6 weeks!! I found it not motivating to work out at home, But they are great video. I should start them again!! It's hard on the legs!!

I love BeachBody!

Hi, I used Slim in 6 and was bored, I couldn't get through the first dvd. But I do love beacbody, so I'm now giving Yoga Booty Ballet a try and I love it. I was so sore the next day, and it's fun. I've been doing it everyday, mostly twice daily (except fo yesterday) today is day 5 and I haven't lost lbs yet, but my body's getting trimmer, or so it feels. Good luck and let me know what you think. :D

I just bought the Slim in 6 Series and should get it next week! I will definitely keep anybody who is interested on my progress. I'm taking before/after pictures so I'll share them when I'm done :)

I have Slim in 6. It will kick your ass...seriously. And, yes, it is VERY hard on your legs...your knees, mostly. Unfortunately, I did not go through the whole 6 weeks. I stopped after day 2 of Burn It Up!, I just couldn't do it! I regret it now, though. I'm curious to know what would have happened if I went through the whole thing. I really was starting to see results (not necessarily in appearance, but I felt better).
Now I just started Power90, which is easier than Slim in 6 (so far, anyway). I think I'll retry Slim in 6 afterward...maybe.

Good luck! :D

Good... my CHUNKY legs need the workout! I hope I don't give up!!

So I came across these at half price books for $10 so I bought them just to see since for some ungodly reason I was up at 3am and the infomercial was on a couple of days before, but it didn't come with any of the info.

How long am I supposed to do each tape for? The only thing I found on the internet said 1 wk Start it up, 2 wks Ramp it up, and 3 wks Burn it up. It also came with the Slim and limber and 6 pack video. Anyways, I wanted to know if that was right. Am I supposed to do them every single day or take a rest, etc.?

FYI: Squats are not my friend. My thighs hurt.

OOoOoh lucky you. $10 eh? Niiiceeeee....

Okay... Being as there are 3 videos, they're supposed to be 1 video every 2 weeks. However, say you're doing video 1 and it starts getting easy after the first week, then skip to video 2.... and so on. It's a progression of sorts. Only move on to the next video when you're comfortable with the video prior. You're supposed to do it 6 days a week, but hey.. if you can only make it 5... then that's fine as well. The videos are difficult. Just make sure to watch your form, especially when it comes to squats and lunges. As for Slim and Limber... that's as stretching video. You can choose to do it when you're feeling a bit tight... on your day off... etc. Slim and 6 Pack is meant to be done along with the videos, but give yourself a day off betw/ each. (ie: do it 3xs a week...)

Ummm I think I answered most of your questions... haha Well, good luck with it, Penny!

Thanks, MGB! I probably would have wasted time if you hadn't told me. I was almost stupidly excited when I found them.

Hi all,

Just found this lovely forum!!

I have a question about the slim in 6 program. To all of you who have done it, or are currently doing it, were you in somewhat decent shape before you started? I'm not in shape at all (i'm a classic couch potato lol) and I was wondering if this workout will be okay for me to do? It sounds like it's pretty tough!

Thanks,
Sam
