Slightly different Music thread.

Ok - I already consider my music taste odd. I like Bach and I like Rob Zombie and pretty much anything on a song by song basis... BUT I try to stay away from top 40 - it just makes me ears cry sometimes.

My guilty Pleasure: Britney Spears :eek: *shame*
 
I'm about to ruin any "cred" I may have built up over the years, but I *love* any dance song that's top 40 and gets played at the bars... Numa Numa was a big one for me for a while, Sexy Back, anything by Beyonce or Nelly Furtado... god I love it all... but only when I'm drunk and dancing, you understand ;)
 
I can't believe I am actually going to post this but I happen to like Milli Vanilli:eek: I can't believe I just type that out!! I might as well ruin any cred I had and also tell you I listen to Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, and New Kids on the Block:eek2: I am sure I have now lost any friend I may have found on this site (sighs)
 
I absolutely love this new version of David Bowie's "Lets dance". You should take a listen to it, by an Irish girl called Paula Flynn. Its very different...

now, i am by no means a rap heavy person, but those just fit the bill to a T.

theres a lot of stuff that works well though, outkast is pretty good stuff, some black eyed peas, whole lot of house/trance/techno music works well too.
 
Hehehe i have to say although my normal music tastes sway towards indie, electronic,rock... i LOOOVEEEEE pop crap.

Top 40 hell yes. It just makes me so happy, especially when drunk. I have a playlist on my ipod and computer crap-packed for of the cheesiest, danciest, sexiest songs around. Theyre SOOOOOO good for dancing around and excercising to
 
Coming from a rock-metal guy, My guilty pleasure is bluegrass.

I freaking love the Foggy Mountain Boys and Union Station.

Being a musician myself may have something to do with it. The sheer talent it takes to play this music is freaking amazing.

Ok not sure about milli vanilli but backstreet boys, N'Sync and new kids on the block are ok by me. But then again I have actually been to a backstreet boys concert. I was 16 at the time though.. lol I still love their music gets me pumped up and ready to really exercise.

I also love Ludacris "fantasy" and Salt n' Pepa's "sexy noises turn me on".. :eek2: those two songs are good for both exercises and other things if you know what i mean... lol :newangel:
 
Thanks to my Dad I have always been hooked on oldies.

Thanks to my best friend Erica I have a secret love for some country music.

And my altime band of gulity pleasure....drum roll please....

The Backstreet Boys....I was in love with them growing up....I still love their music. I know most of the words to their songs. I have all of the CDs and I know which song comes after the other...I was a backstreet fanatic.


I guess growing up in the era of the boy bands really will stick with me for the rest of my life.


But now a days my heart and soul belongs to Rock music.

I'm a chubby short girl who loves to dance to this. ALOT. Like at work I dance while I wash the dishes and stuff.
