Hello all, I'm new to the forum and a veteran to the weight loss struggle. Been on a few diets with success only to gain back what I have lost. With a wedding in the near future and health concerns of family members weighing on me I made the choice to adopt a new lifestyle. So here lies my confusion, I have been following a some what strict diet mostly focusing on healthier choices and roughly following what has worked for me in the past. I am 5-6 tall and weigh now 198 lbs which is down 30 from December 28. My diet now is 6 meals a day coming in between 2000-2300 calories a day. I have a fairly physically demanding job building houses, I recently purchased a fit bit charge hr and with work and running 3 days a week and trx twice a week it says I burn between 3500-5000 calories a day. Now my big concern is do I need to up my intake of food? I feel I should be more at the 3000 calorie a day mark but I'm not hungry and feel satisfied at the intake I'm at. The last thing I want is to loose muscle or worse fall off and gain it all back. So I guess if anyone has any input on this it would be great!!
