Slightly Conflicted

Right now I am cutting, so I am doing the normal stuff. HIIT, cardio, diet, 3 times a week FBW(bench press,squats, military press and so on)

I have a question about reps and sets.

If I am cutting I heard lifting heavy weights with less reps is good. But i am also training for basketball (i am a guard so power isn't my biggest concern, it's endurance and explosiveness for legs)

So if I wanted to get lean or more defined looking arms and endurance, what kind of set/rep program or amount should I be doing?
 
If your cutting then always go with low reps. This will stop you losing too much muscle. low reps will make you stronger and more explosive, while high reps only add size (which wont happen while you are cutting anyway)
