Sport skipping meals

Mon-Fri I eat correct, but on weekends I sleep in or have errands to run so I won't have breakfast and then I might be out, so I'll have lunch before I leave and then dinner when I get back which could be any time usually late around midnight and during that time I don't get anything to eat since I'm probably busy or running back and forth errands. What if I have a big lunch before I leave and then a big dinner when I get back?
 
Always get in your caloric needs for the day and ALWAYS get breakfast no matter what. Plus you can take food with you, that is what coolers are for. Make it important especially since they are your errands. You are in control so live like it.

Always have breakfast. As for lunch, bring some meals if you can. If not, hit up subway and consider it a cheat. Although I'm not a fan of protein bars, brings some; its a better alternative than Mcdonalds.
 
Yeah, bring together some snacks, stick em' in your car with a protein shake or something - put them in a cooler and there you have it. Better than three 1000 calorie meals one after the other, day after day.

Alton Brown of "Good Eats" just had a show on making granola and protein bars!





Looking at the results, I thought some store bought bars were better! I usually keep a few in the van for when I'm stuck out of the house.
