skipping is a good way of cardio

If you do not have a skipping rope u can still skip just go infront of the mirror and jump up and down like u would with a skipping rope. Your gonna get tired but keep going and it will burn in ur legs and the stomach area. Ive also heaard that 15 minutes of jogging equals 5 minutes of skipping rope.
 
I haven't done it in a while, but I remember it burnt me out very fast
 
I ve tried skipping before for my martial arts foot work

that was great experience it would make my calfs burn like hell after a hundred skips

need to get back to it
 
Skipping is a calf killer!! If you've read my diary (embarrassingly STILL in the women's section!!) you'll know about my skipping saga. Excellent for cardio - one of the best excercises there is imho but, make sure you stretch beforehand and afterwards.
