Hi,
I am 30 and need advice on my skin care/skin health maintenance.
I used to have acute acne problem in my teen-age years. I still have breakout sometimes. I had used almost every single thing on m face to get rid of acne. My skin has lost the smoothness. I understand I cannot make up for the past. But is there any way I can take care of it from now on. I mean so that my skin looks soft/fresh.

Also I have kind of black circle around my lip and chin. I think I have combination skin. Can you please help me with these all?
And suggest me a good skin care product with the ways to use them properly.
Thanks

best skin care tips
1. If you smoke, quit now.. Smoking is one of hte worst things for your skin if you are around smokers, tell them to quit.

2. Keep hydrated.

3. Sunscreen - always even on hazy days. In the winter, use a moisturizer with SPF.

4 eat a healthy well balanced diet.

5. If you wear makeup, remove it before going to bed

6 Moisturize - find one that works for your skin type - Clinique has a very good line for various skin types... but Consumer reports does a yearly issue on beauty products (go to yur local library and get it) the expensive products do not work better than the drugstore products.

7. Get enough sleep

8. Exercise

9. Monitor your food intake and make sure you're getting enough vitamins and minerals - pop a multi vitamin if you arent

for old acne scarring, visit a dermotologist - they might have some solutions for you

Hi,
Your problem doesn't sound good. I don't think you will find the real solution on this forum. It's best to consult a specialist. I had a similar problem, and the doctor helped me. But if you really want to learn something about your disorder, you can search on the Internet. Interestingly, I came across an interesting e-Shop www [stupid link removed] which gives the secret for the flawless, glowing and beautiful screen.
It’s worth trying.
Regards
