Six star body fuel question

I started using this stuff about a month ago...it has helped my workout quite a bit and ive gone from 152 pounds to 159 pounds and it appears to be all muscle. Ive even lost a little fat around the mid-section.

Anyway, this whey protein is the typical stuff that every other maker markets but it also contains a creatine "infuse". This infuse is only 1.3 grams per serving and is made up of creatine, glutamine alpha-ketoglutarate, glutamine peptides, L-glutamine, L-leucine, L-valine & L-Isoleucine. If all that is contained in 1.3 grams, then how much of that 1.3 grams is actual creatine? Im reading on here where folks are taking 5-10 grams of creatine a day. At that rate i'd have to drink about 5 to 8 shakes of my stuff to get that much creatine. Why did they put so little in this shake? Also, do i need to cycle this protein shake off and on because of the creatine or is it a neglegable amount that i can consume long term?

Thanks.

1. YOU DO NOT CYCLE CREATINE

2. I'd guess maybe 1g of that 1.3g blend is actual creatine...a pretty useless amount.

3. 3-5g a day, every day, post workout preferred is ALL you need for creatine. don't load, don't cycle, don't worry about 'creatine transport systems'. just put a teaspoon in your post workout shake, and take a dose on non-training days...whenever its convenient.

I'd switch to a higher quality protein that doesn't have extra crap in it. As you've already seen, it doesn't have enough creatine to be particularly effective, but you can bet you paid extra for it. Optimum Nutrition makes very tastey protein flavors, that are good quality. You should look at their Pro-complex, which has a whey/egg blend and a good amino profile. that or Nitrean protein, which you can get at

then get 500g of creatine monohydrate that has the creapure processing label. AtLarge sells it, and there are many other brands that use creapure processing...Optimum nutrition is another. 500g should run you no more than $15, don't get ripped off.

Why is that a useless ammount? Your body produces 2 grams of creatine everyday and 60-80% of that is stored if you were storing 1.2g of that natural creatine/day then another 1g on top of that would still have an effect. Especially if the creatine is in monohydrate form.

Well, its only 1g per serving, so he'd need 3 servings to get 3g...and that wouldn't happen all at post workout when the body is MOST WANTING creatine to be replenished.

plus, I guarantee his powder cost more than buying a straight protein, and a straight creatine. You ALWAYS pay a pretty penny for any level of convenience.
