Sport Simple Ratio Question

I am not sure what your goals are but I'll be glad to share what I do.
I consume 30% protein, 40% carbs and 30% fat. I try to keep my saturated fat less than 10% usually at 5%. This ratio has worked well for me in losing bodyfat while maintain muscle.
 
I try to do 45ish protein 35ish carbs 20ish fats...

I'm trying to build muscle, become more toned...
 
The ratio will vary from person to person and from goal to goal. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 40/30/30 (carb/protein/fat) is a good start.
 
Yeah, I tend to agree with Beamer and Lynn, I think your protein intake should be a bit higher than carbs and fat.
 
It really depends on the person. I have discovered that my body functions best with about 50% carbs, 15% fat and 35% protein. How are you feeling with your current ratios? And are you making progress? You may want to increase your carb percentage a bit if you aren't.

i wood start at a base of 1g per pd of bodywt of protein...2g/pd/bw carbs and .5g/pd/bw fats...as fat loss stalls decrease carbs 25% and make calories by increasing protein and fat evenly...repeat when fat loss stalls again
