Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired

Hey everyone!

I am a 39-year-old, single white female, who has been in a very emotionally abusive relationship for three years. As a result of that, I have gained almost 100 pounds, and I HAVE to lose it. I had gastric banding in 2006, and I have a history of gout, diverticulitis, and kidney stones. So, I have dietary restrictions that I can't seem to surmount on my own. I just bought an elliptical machine, because I can't do high-impact exercise at this weight. I am sick and tired all the time, and I need help. I need information, support, encouragement, and motivation. I want my life back!

I'm glad to be here. :waving:

Hello Witty

I too have a bucket load of weight to lose and am doing it under the guidance of my doctor and the surgery dietician. It's slow, but the weight is coming off consistently and for good. I have an exercise bike, because my knees and ankles are very painful and the bike takes my weight off them while i exercise. I also do step ups on the bottom step of our stairs. I have gallstones, so low fat is important for me.
I'm taking the loss a stone (14lbs) at a time so as not too get disheartened.
You have come to the right place, I have had immense support on here in just a couple of weeks and I'm viewing the future with optimism now.

Hi
Dear Girls, i've mentioned this post, because the age close to mine. I am 41. I've got a long distance with my weight. And this story so interesting, that I can not put it here (not enough time for)). I just wanna say, that to have a normal weight and to eat all what you want we don't need all complicated diets and special things. I've been 100kg. I found the reason-why it's happened with me. It was amazing story and I changed everything in my life. I feel now.. that I wanna share my experience, cos to hide it no honestly. But to begin -I should explain all totally. From the first step. Really I would like to help.
Sincerely Yours
