Hi all, My name is sinead and im 25 years old
Ive been struggling with my weight for awhile now and i need some help
Im quiet shy about it all and dont know where to look or start so any advise would be great
Ive recently join my local gym but hurt my knee a few weeks back and it has knocked me back to starting point again.
I done hours or research and planning and i just feel like im getting no where.
Im hoping to loose 2 stone before Christmas and then a further 8 stone after.

Looking forward to getting advise

Hope you are doing well! 2 stone is a lot to lose in two month's time. I addition to working out, you also have made a plan to eat healthy, right? I guess you need to wait until your knee is better before you can go back to the gym. My knees also started hurting when I decided to start jogging and had done it for three days. Maybe you find some youtube videos of workouts that don't put any pressure on the knees? I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss!
 
Welcome! Like tonia99 said, a combination of healthy eating and exercise is what is needed. You can still do lots while your knee recovers. Depending on you injury, and your doctors advice you could still potentially ride a bike, do water workouts or focus on upper body workouts. Some gyms even have special bikes you pedal with your arms. Walking can also be good if you are cleared for it. The main thing is to develop a routine and get into the habit of working out. Keep it fun so you keep doing it.
