Take? How about eat? :) They are a food nt a supplement.

And yes. Don't be scared of good fats.

Go for it. Everyone loves a good nut-taker. Nuts bring great pleasure and a mouthful of nuts is a great way to start any day. So enjoy your nuts and eat them often. :cheeky2:

Not my nuts, ya won't!!! ;)

We need "a little saturated fat in our diet". Believe it or not, Saturated fat and Cholesterol are important participants in (i.e. Testosterone, etc). However, the diet in general society, tends to have way too much, and more than we need for health purposes.

Natural Peanut Butter (and other good fats), are good in any well rounded diet plan. If I were stranded on an island, and had to choose one item I could eat (that wouldn't perish quickly), I would choose Peanut Butter, hands down. Its calorie dense, has all three macros in varying amounts, and I would survive :), and.......be happier than a child with presents on Christmas Holiday.

Though nuts (in general) share common nutritional values, there are a couple (as an example) that standout: Black Walnuts (Walnuts in general), and Almonds.

Just be careful with them (as they are calorie dense), if you are on a calorie controlled diet. But do have them as part of your daily diet for health.

Tip #15 Good Fats
On average, most people should ensure that 25-35% of their energy intake comes from fat, with your fat intake split equally between saturates (animal fat), monounsaturates (olive oil, avocados, etc), and polyunsaturates (flax oil, salmon oil, etc.). Your total fat in the diet may vary but make sure you’re getting about 1/3 of each type for the best fat balance.

Then I'll make sure not to run out ;)

lol!!!
