Should i take creatine?(i read stickies)

So i read the stickies and it said that roughly until 18 i should take it.(i`m 16, 1 this year) cause we are still gorwing etc...
now what if i already finished growing (i`m 6'1 and have been that for along time), am i still considering to be in the growing category?

also say i wear to take it. how will it effect me(still growing & 16) more than say someone who is finished?

and since it said it make muscle retain water, does this mean my muscle will look bigger but be less strong as say, my clone who got the exact same body but didnt achieve from creatine?

Ugh...pay more attention in English class...my eyes are bleeding

But anyways: we have NO IDEA what creatine does to 16 year old boys because nobody studies that.
Its probably safe.

water retention has NOTHING to do with strength.

Right, you want proper English? I will give it to you. :p

Anyways, today I went to the doctor (refer to my sternum thread) and he said that all types of supplements etc... are bad for you. Rather than bad, he said its all second class. He also said Creatine is ALWAYS bad, I didnt bother asking why. He also said lots of stuff on the internet is a scam and consuming it can lead to problems. Now on this forum it really seems mild and seems comparable to some sort of multi-vitamin pill. The way he described it was as if it is some sort of Anabolic Steroid. Now , I am sure he knows the difference but he totally did not recommend it. Why did he speak about it like that, then i get a whole different attitude on the internet.

Take that Shakespeare ;P

I agree that there is a ton of crap on the internet that is garbage however I suggest you get a new doctor if he thinks all supplements are bad for you.

He's just another true product of the people who believe in the media.

As you can tell I am not in a good mood at the moment as I just burnt my 3rd meal of the day.

Titanium,

your doctor didn't go to school to learn about supplements, so LV is right that he's just buying into the media hype.

as for English...what can I say, I hold a B.A. in English...I know this is just a forum, but I can't handle disjointed posts sometimes ;)

Truthfully unless the rest of your diet is in good nick I wouldn't bother with creatine as chances are that it will be a waste of money.

LV by supplements i think he was refering to protein shakes etc... not the multi-vitamin pills etc..(which i think you think that he was refering to them aswell)
in Malta we have no med school, just a free(yes great isnt it?) university which caters for everything possible.

well i dont realy know whether they fully passed or not i mean i never even crossed my mind nor does it realy make sense to me but anyways.

i dont think i will bother with it for now. i just wanted to know, i dont want to add more complications to my life
