Sport Should I cut out soy?

Sport Fitness
Right now the staple of my diet is soy products. In the form of soy cheese, soy milk, soy hot dogs, soy burgers, soy cereal... the list goes on. However, it has recently come to my attention that eating soy causes your body to produce estrogen and block testosterone. That is bad, particularly since I'm eating huge amounts of soy. When I went veggie I noticed major changes in my metabolism and how my body stores fat. All this time I had simply assumed it was due to lack of meat. But now I am wondering if it isn't due to the massive consumption of soy protein.

Should I limit my soy intake? Eliminate it completely from my diet? And if so, what are suitable replacements? I want to keep my protein intake extremely high (around 200g a day) while keeping my fat intake relatively low and not overdoing carbs. Most vegetarian products that are high in protein contain as much protein as they do due to the soy content. If soy is as detrimental to body building as some seem to think it is then I would love to hear any alternatives that people can offer me.

soy is ok if it is your ONLY protein source - otherwise lose it

You're kinda stuck, that's not to say that you couldn't make substantial gains consuming soy. But those gains wouldn't compare to those you'd make consuming other types of protein. Since it appears that you're 100% veggie (no milk eggs cheese etc) my only advice would be to try to cut as much soy as possible and replace it with whey protein, but let it be known that whey is taken from milk. <~I don't want to be the cause of something :)...

Wheat Germ and Beans seem veggie friendly. Wheat Germ is high in fat though. Both are high in protein.
