Hey guys, I'm looking in to HIIT for the many reasons cited in the sticky and from people I talk to who say it helps a bunch.
Stats: 20 Yr old male, 215 lbs.
My question though, is HIIT good for what I want to accomplish? I'm looking to lose around 30 lbs over the next few months (However long it takes )
and I currently do some moderate cardio for about 25 minutes. I do stair stepper for 12 minutes medium intensity, and then run a few laps which equals out to half a mile or so... then I do elliptical for 10 minutes as a sort of cool down, but my HR still stays around 60% of max.
As for weight training, I do full body every day for about 30 minutes. I rest for 30 seconds between sets which seems to get my heart rate very high during workouts also.
Any tips would be great.
