Should I add supplements like hydroxycut?

OK, I am a male, 20 years old. I am not overweight or anything near the such, but I am not in the shape that I want to be in. I do not know my exact weight, around 170 or so as that is not a focus point of mine, I am 5'11 to 6',. I am going for look and how I feel. I have been on my workout routine, M -F only, of running a mile on a treadmill, using a bowflex for my arms, ablounge for abs, and occasionally the 8 minute tae-bo exercise. I have been eating healthier than I used to be, and now I have decided to try a light version of the atkins out.
Now my question is.. could something like hydroxycut help me with my goals? Realize that I, in no way shape or form, expect this pill to do it for me. I am just looking for something that might help give me a boost and help me get there faster. If not hydroxycut, what kind of supplement is good?
Thanks.

Hydroxycut won't do jack because

a)you don't seem to know how to train correctly
b)you don't seem to know how to eat correctly

If you're just looking for an energy boost, caffeine is nice by itself.

It really depends on what equipment you have. You have a boflex, so you can easily just use it for a couple fullbody workouts a week. I definately wouldn't just work your arms and neglect the rest of your body. Also, since you're really looking to "get in shape" or basically improve your conditioning, look over the two following sites-

Both will have some great ideas to get you into better shape.

The taebo is fine. I'd also take it out to the football field or any open field and run some sprints.

As far as nutrition goes-try and eat 4-6 times a day. Look in our nutrition area and LV has a link up for the items you should have in your kitchen. I think prob taking your weight and multiplying by 15 might be a good start to see how many kcals you should consume. If you find that you are either gaining fat to fast or you're not gaining muscle, then you can either increase or decrease very easily.

Don't take hydroxycut its overpriced for what it does. Lipo-6 is far better and safer for you. I take it and trust me it works just keep your diet in check and exercise and you'll see results.
