Shopping for supplements is fun..

I just bought about $100 bucks worth of goodies to assist me in my goals, it's fun picking out all that excellent stuff, and when it finally arrives.. ehhh good feeling.

Who agrees?

This depends on what you bought, RWS. Either you spent your hard earned money "somewhat" wisely or you didn't. What did you buy?

I buy "three supplements", and I assume you know what these are. So, I do not spend much money on supplements, but I do spend a lot of money and time on my diet and what is bought at the grocery store.

Best wishes

wwwwwwwwelll!

I bought some caffeine pills, some magnesium, some fish oil, some casein protein, and some Branched Chain Amino Acids in powder AND capsule form! All great stuff!

Are your three supplements protein, fish oil and uh.... oh yeah multivitamin?

I was gonna be a smartass and say crack for the last one but then I figured out it was multivitamin...

What do you need the caffiene for, LOL. :) :D

What is the purpose of extra caffiene?

A false "energy lift?". Only to crash and burn, later (and asking yourself WTF?! :)), then as the "body adapts" it will "potentially " need more than before (not to mention becoming "potentially" addicted).

In the future, if you stop or alter this insidious pace, and wonder why you get headaches, and even have less energy then before (and feeling of lethargy), look to "this" decision, and don't confuse it as symptoms within your diet structure.

I know caffiene is a mild stimulant and a mild diuretic, but, I believe in the absolute power of energy through diet manipulation and exercise manipulation. Why do you think I have been so "steady" in energy and motivation? By mistake? No, by design. My design, not "someone elses" interpretation and opinion on my design, but my own. I cannot be inappropriately influenced.

You know how I feel about "supplements" so the above feeling about caffiene shouldnt suprise you, lol. You made the "choice" and will live with the negatives associated with it--WHEN they come. We all live good and get bad effects by "choices" made.

Other than the "supplement" of caffiene, the other supplements you purchased are fine, of course. :beerchug:

For the record, :). my crack is diet and exercise and knowing my personal science, and only taking three supps......during the entire time (Whey protein powder, flax and fish oil).

Being high on crack is cool! (female crack too!, he, he);)

Caffeine can actually be postive for the body, if you don't take over load on it. I think the number is around 100 and something MG per day which is around 1 1/2 cups of coffee.

To each there own. Some caffiene is fine, but to use it as a crutch for energy is wrong, IMO.
