A low calorie diet like this should never be attempted unless under the care of a professional.

Many people experience a weight loss at that level for the 10 weeks at the start of a program of healthy eating and exercise without needing to resort to medication or cutting their calories anywhere like as low as that...

Sadly your body will get used to living on a low number of calories so that you are more likely to gain weight if you once go back to eating more normally.

Your body is highly likely to be missing out on a lot of nutrients so it will not be operating healthily.

If people have their calories set at too low a level - they risk eroding their bones and their muscle (including heart muscle). As Kara said - anyone attempting this needs to be under medical supervision.

I am glad that I did not do anything so risky for my weight loss.

A low calorie diet should not be attempted unless prescribed by a specialist.
Losing rapid amount of weight is deceptive and a wrong diet could have adverse effects like pale, sagging skin, dark circles and fine lines, even loss of hair and overall vitality.

Good luck with your diet! I hope you manage to keep your weight after the diet is over, allthough i doubt it.

Anyway, you deserve our support.

You would be much better off in the long run if you focused on eating a well-balanced healthy diet. Your body simply can not go on for a long time on that few of calories. You may be losing weight in the short-term but I would be worried about your the effect this type of diet will have in the long term.
