well....
I managed to eat low carbs..and my earlier diet plans all week long..(last week)..and I failed during the weekend.....
I gave in to:mad: eatin rice..and rice..for lunc and even dinner........
two days!!

I feel so awful now.......as i am the one who prepares food,...and as my husband is very fond of tasty food..I have to make good food atleast during weekends..
and I got tempted..to eat rice..instead of my veggies and..fruits......

well..now I made a decision to write eveyrthing i eat and do...in my diary..
so that iam conscious of my food and also to stay focused.......

guys anyone..of yu please...be after me..inquiring my progress....

so tomorrows plan...

Breakfast
at 7: 1 cup fatless milk and a very small bowl of fitness cereals
( I hope I can eat somehting so early)
Work at Gym for 2 hours from 8 am to 10 am
Get back to work by 11 am

Lunch at 11:30
includes..
1/3 cup brown rice
one apple
one carrot/salad

Coffee at 2 pm
One slice brown bread

Snack at 4 pm: another small apple or carrots

Supper 6:45 pm
One tortilla with veg curry
One apple
and some veg salad

thats it...for the day
food ends before 7 in the evening..

and water..1-1/2 during day
and 1-1/2 after 7 pm

so that i dont get hungry anymore......

I saw on extreme make over program that people who want to loose weightit should stop eating by 7 in the evenig and helps best to loose weight for real!!

let me see how it helps by this weekend....

now i have to hit bed fast..to get up by 6 tomorrow.........
 
You sound motivated and that's the most important thing. I'm sure that you're husband will be supportive. Check out the recipe section for tasty and healthy recipes. You can do anything you set your mind to! You'll get all the support you need here.

This is one thing that I notice. Your plan is so structured, how will you feel if you stray from the strict guidelines? Are you setting yourself up for failure? I know that in the past I have set unreasonable goals thhen become so discouraged when I couldn't meet them that I fell off the diet entirely. Remember, you want to make life long healthy changes. Maybe consider tracking your food as you eat during the day as many people do here, then you can adjust your meals as the day goes on. IE. If you eat a lot at lunch, have a smaller supper etc. Whatever you choose to do, we will be here for you!!!

Hi! It's good to have a plan. I agree with Sillygirl that your plan needs to have some flexibility built into it, because life is unexpected. The most successful plan is the one you can live with for the long run, so keep that in mind.

Also, make sure to eat enough so that your body does not think it is starving. Most people say that is around 1200 calories a day. Maybe 1000 per day if you are really small. Anyway, I don't know how many calories are in vegetable curry, but looking at the rest of your menu, it sure looks like you might be risking going into starvation mode. You definitely don't want to ruin all your hard work by having your body think you are starving and holding onto every single calorie you eat!
 
I agree..You need to be flexible and keep that calorie count around 1200. You can do this. I have a hand held calorie counter that helps me keep track of what I eat and how many cals called a health fit counter. It keeps me on track and in my calorie range. It also keeps track over 3 days so that you can see any patterns in your eating. If you don't try to mix up your eating a little and maybe add a little protien....you will find yourself reverting back to old habits. Make the choices you can live with for the rest of your life...not just UNTIL..... But you move it with the exercise, gal....I'm tired just imagining 2 hours!

thankyou all for your prompt suggestions.....I really see a point..in what you guys said...true..my plan needs to be more flexible..
i wil keep that in mind..but i dont really know how to count these 1200 cal/day..
probably thats the reason iam not loosin wieght but gaining muscle..
I got into a little better shape now..my love handles have dissappeared to some extent ..(but not all!)..my thighs are better looking..
but weiht wise..onyl 1 pound less!!

well..i finished my breakfast...and had to reschedule my workout... :-((
my university gym has some sudden programs..that i can never really go whenever i want...!!

i need to go to the gym in afternoon....

I do two- hour workout bcoz i dont do exercise everyday..although i walk to and fro to my work and home..
(it takes 45 minutes from my home to work)
i exercise only 3 times a week..Mon, Wed, and Fri

all this walking, diet and gym worout has been since last 3 weeks only..

ok now...
I shd start workin...
