Sport Shake mixes. Is quality valued over quantity?

Sport Fitness
Say for example you can get 19g of protein from a good shake mix serving, or use a shake mix like Body Fortress or some other Walmart brand that gives you 32g+ per serving. Considering that you're getting DOUBLE the protein from the Body Fortress mix, does the quality shake mix still take precedence over the higher-gram-but-lower-quality shake?

Everybody seems to say "drink a quality shake", but that's also assuming you're getting the same amount of grams per serving, right?

You have to remember that not all shakes are created equally, nor do they have the same scoop size.

I've seen 19g servings, but the scoops are tiny, and its possible that protein is even marketed towards women.
All the 'hardcore' stuff has larger scoops and usually 25g-30g per serving.

Weight gainers are a whole different ball of wax since they are loaded with carbs.

But yes, quality is important. YOu can get all kinds of cheap gelatine, which is a protein, but its ultra low quality. What good is quantity if it takes 4x as much to get the 'full effect' vs less quantity of a higher quality (like a whey + casein blend)

we have debated protiend brands here many times.

I use body fortress as a result of viewing those debates.

it is cost effective, and has been scrutinized intensely and found to be "cost effective" but not cheap.

there is a difference.

thta's my .02 based on observing these braniacs argue about it for years,

Definitely not questioning your logic one bit, but doesn't Body Fortress have much more than just protein in it? Creatine and an amino profile that isn't naturally found in an isolate?
