Serious Help Required (If it is possible asap)

Hi,

I have a very close friend who went for a trial at one of the top dancing university's in the United Kingdom and she got in.
She had the physio inspection this morning and they rejected her because her ( ) is too weak.
Could someone please tell me asap on how to strengthen this bone up? or is there any operations she can have to strenghten it? as she has planned her whole life around dancing and really wants to do it.

I really hope someone can help,

Thanks

What bone ??? bones can be strengthened but it takes time. it is done by putting stress on the bone in different ways (directions) that causes the bone to build up. So lifting is the best way really but it takes about 8 weeks for the bones to build up density and you need to contiuely stress them a little for them to continue to build up.Wait ithink I have a doucument on it I'll go look..

weight bearing exercise. Axial loading like squats with a barbell. But it will still take some time to strengthen the bone. Thats the best I can think of this very second.the document is on power point so if you want I can email it to you. just pm me your email addi..

Sent it.. hope it helps
