Since it's a long weekend, I thought I'd get this started so there'd be no excuses on Monday :) Pick your weigh-in day each week and post your weight!

For example, if you choose Monday mornings to weigh in, use the following template:

Sept 3: _____

Sept 10: _____

Sept 17: _____

Sept 24: _____

Good luck to everyone!

I'm starting mine today. So that way I still work out all weekend. Trying to break into 240s and hopefully 239 by the 30th of this month. That is my goal. I've been doing pretty good these past few weeks. I have cut almost all fast food out and haven't had a beer or alcohol in at least three weeks. Going to try and have less cheat meals this month and when I do I'm going to eat healthier ones.

Not down as much as I would have liked this week, but I'm hoping for better progress this week.

I actually joined the June challenge and was 137 and aiming to get down to 133. I was not overweight but was concerned that I had put on 7 lbs in 3 months and wanted to do something. I always have told myself that I should never get over 133 to keep myself well within a healthy bmi (would be about bmi 21.7). I am small framed so I should be aiming to keep to the middle to lower end of my ideal weight so 137 would be pushing it! anyway I lost the 4 pounds within 7 weeks and did it through small changes and more exercise, eating healthier but not restricting myself and then I unintentionally lost a further 2 lbs so I am now 131. I seem to have stabilised now so I am really happy! As they say prevention is better than cure. If I saw a trend of weight gain it was my responsibility to stop it going any further so I would not become overweight in the first place. Having said that I understand that sometimes situations beyond control like severe depression, underactive thyroid, devolpment of severe eating disoreders can lead to excessive weight gain and that is not the fault of the individual and actually I think eating disorders are really understimated and are often the cause for weight gain (but in my case I was just drinking too much wine! so I cut down). I hope everyone on here reaches their targets

Way to go Jenny ! I think it's awesome that you keep accountability of yourself and take action when you see the scale moving up. Once I reach my goal weight, I'm definitely going to have that scale sitting right out there challenging me to stand on it and keep an eye on my weight!
