Hi DMC68, what supplements and minerals did your doctor recommend? What are the issues that your doctor is hoping the supplements will overcome?
The reason I ask these questions is because you have to be picky about what you purchase and ingest. A lot people will take the pills or capsules but they will not get the absorption of the nutrients needed and thus are wasting time and money. What many people do not realize is that pill and capsule supplements, vitamins and minerals have to go through a harsh digestion process when they are in our stomachs. Through this intense process to break down the pills to the point of possible absorption, the nutrients are depleted from the acids that are required for digestion. Therefore, you will not be absorbing the nutrients you thought you were and a lot of times they just get excreted. This can result in no change in your condition and money put into pills that do not help you.
Unfortunately our food is either not left to ripen the way it should or prepared to depletion, thus not providing us with the highest nutrient value either (the difference in our soil now versus 50 years ago is amazingly sad with the nutrient deficiency).
Your best option would be to take an isotonic-capable supplement. Isotonic-capable supplements (available in the mineral, vitamin and other supplements) means that when mixed with the right amount of water and drank on an empty stomach, the nutrients can skip the digestion process and go straight to your small intestine for absorption. It is similar to an IV where it goes straight to absorption. Within 5-10 minutes of drinking, you will have between 92-98% absorption of the nutrients. This occurs because the science supported isotonic bioavailability means that the concentration is the same as the blood and other fluids in your body so it does not need to go through digestion.
I would be happy to chat with you more about this and answer any questions. I actually work with isotonic-capable supplements with many people and have seen amazing results as well as personal results. I also do extensive research which is why this is such a long post
Hope to hear from you soon!
