http://training.fitness.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=2362#post2362

ive seen my waste go down and i cant even walk around without holding my pants (i sag) anyway but as far as stomach goes? not really much :*( same with face i still got chubby cheeks im not a fat person nor do i look fat but face/stomach make me sorda :(

my arms have gotten a lil bit bigger but there not carved/cut
same thing with legs..

so how do i get rid of this somtach/face/chest

This may be mainly genetics coming into play here, but if there is still fat on the stomache area with little overall definition you still need to lower your total bfp (body fat percentage). It does sound like you have made some progress in your fat loss goals! :) However, I would have to see your workout to tell what you what you may need to change on it.

Im not a nutritionist or anything. But by the look of your diet, and the description of your progress, I think you need more protien. Try adding one meal of solid protien, (e.g. can of tuna). As far as your stomache goes, intensify your ab workout, try some new ab exercises. When you do ab exercises its critical that you flex your abs the entire time. Close your eyes if you need to and concentrate. Alot of times people will cheat themselves by letting other body parts help.

Doing abdominal exersizes correctly has little to do with the problem you you are having. I disagree STRONGLY with the information you have just been given. This is the idea many new lifters get in their head. They think that by doing tons of crunches and hopping on an Ab Rocker they will have a tight stomache. This could be no further from the truth. There is fat there, and you need to lose it. You can do more crunches if you would like, but this may actually INCREASE the size of your stomache by pushing the external layer of fat even further out, in turn hiding the very muscle you are trying to expose. You need to get your total body fat percentage down in order to lose that fat around your stomache. Watch what you eat, maybe up the cardio to 4 or 5 thirty minute sessions a week.

Couldn't be further from the truth? I see your argument, and I even half-way see your point. But it isnt the farthest thing from the truth. Ive seen it work.
Im not a "new lifter" either. Ive been an elite athlete for almost 20 years, and have spent 5 of those years on the professional level. I appreciate your point and would never patronize it, so dont patronize mine. Ive read your replies to a number of other peoples posts and to be honest with you, I think your the most unpleasant individual on this board.

yea, genius is quite opinionated (sp?) but i agree with him in a way. Building up your abs will not directly make your stomach decrease ... to do that, you must lower your bfp.
Also, as he said before, genetics may make that hurtle even tougher as your body may really like to store fat there (http://www.weight-loss.fitness.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15) and make it that much more difficult to get rid of it.
HOWEVER, doing ab work will build muscle and nother burns fat better than muscle ... hence, the reason why it does work to a certain degree. If you are getting noticeable results in other areas, then you probably only just need some more patience and continue with the good work.

well i decided to eat less and run more? i dont know im just getting sick of it.. im seeing little improvment but odly i see myself getting fatter! jesus its pissing me off maybe becuase im lifting? maybe i should just stop lifting.... eat a little bit less and run 1 hour

ive gotten to the point where i can run 45 to 50 min str8 without even getting too tired... but i get bored! so.. im going to start just not eating as much

or should i still do what my diet program says?

thats my newest diet..

well, i agree with abear .. you are hardly eating anything. If that's all you have been eating for awhile, then it's possible that your metabolism is at a crawl. So, i wouldn't reduce what ur eating by anything more. I can understand your frustration, but if you think that the people like the one in the photo u posted only do an hour of running, then ur wrong. You can't expect to get like that without a lot of work ... if it were that easy then the a lot of us would be there already.
Part of the problem may be that you are only going through the motions. If you can't stay focused and are bored, then you aren't getting optimal benefits ... and, you probably aren't working yourself to the max, either. This may sound awefully critical, but sound like you need to work harder.

********** ********* ************ yeah... cant express the words lol anyway ok work harder? ill try to do.. and your saying my eating plan

from 7 am till 9 PM is not enough food? damn... well should i add like ****ty foods? or just eat more freely and work out harder..

cuz i mean i feel fool with the food.. and when i get hungry its the exact time my body wants to eat it goes perfect.. like its getting to the point where my body is used to being hungry at 6 9 12 3 6 9 get what im saying

and working out harder? ok ill try to run for the same time.. but a ****load faster i think you are right.. if im not getting too tired now and bored then that means im not pushing my self so i need to add new limits!! hmm thx man..

what do you suggest i do.. besides push my self even harder on the runing? should i still lift weights? or stop i just want to get cut no need for extra bulky should i add anything to the diet.. and if so please add details..

thx man your great help responsive :)

I think your the most unpleasant individual on this board.

I'm just telling it like it is. Working the abs directly will not make all that fat around the abdominal area disappear as this individual is looking for. Yes, added muscle boosts the overall metabolic rate ect ect ect, but you still need to be focusing more on getting your overall BFP down. I'm sorry if I came across as rude? I did not think I was rude at all, I am just stating a fact that by doing millions of abdominal crunches you will not see all that fat disappear. Properly done, improperly done, it does not matter really.

quick thought

I'm learning that simple patience is the BIGGEST recepie for success.

I wish you lots of it.
