Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer

Can anyone give some review on the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer? I am looking into this for my new years resolution. I think if I buy something other than a gym membership I will use it more. Not sure but the more I pay and not use the more I will have an uneasy feeling. :)

Thanks for your replies.

I can't comment on the Schwinn, but if you think you will have trouble getting the motivation to get to the gym, then I expect you'll have the same trouble getting motivated to use the elliptical trainer. Having it at home will certainly make if more convenient, but there are tons of elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, home gym equipment and such gathering dust in people's homes. The good news is, because of that, if you want to buy one, you should be able to find what you want on the used market for probably a quarter the cost of buying it new, assuming you are in a big enough market. Bottom line though is to be successful you need to make whatever exercise you decide to do a routine that you prioritize above other distractions that tend to provide the excuse for not exercising.

Yeah that is what I am afraid of. Good points. Thanks. However I do think I can do this immediately after work. Do you know of any sites that I might be able to find such equipment? Is craigslist good? I heard their are a lot of scams on that site.

Jimo,
I have a wonderful store for you to check out. Syracuse Fitness Store. You can research all you want about ellipticals, but the best review is going to be you getting on the machines and trying them out. They have 15 different models on our floor for you to come in and try out. Prices will range from $499 to $5649. They are supper cool ask for Andy
