Sport Saturated Fats

:confused: My question is when trying to reduce body fat, how much saturated fat is allowed? I eat a lot of low fat cheese like parmesan cheese, but it has saturated fat in it. Should I be emiliminating cheese completely???:confused:
 
No do not eliminate it totally as the body requires it. Keep it to one serving a day.
 
It all depends on your calorie requirement for you goal. Say it's 2000 for cutting, I'd keep my sat fat intake to about 15g of sat fat per day.
 
saturated fat shouldn't exceed 12% of your daily calories.

the american heart association prefers under 10% of your daily calories, but they look at the 'typcial american' who's obese and doesn't get any physical exercise on a regular basis
 
So if I have 1200- 1300 calories a day, one serving of low fat cheese is 2.5 grams of fat..I'm allowed at least two slices a day?
 
well 1200-1300 calories is pretty low, what is your weight,height,age and workout schedule?
