i finally bought a waffle iron.. that recipe tastes soooo much better as waffles than pancakes (even though they were still good)..

I have had waffles every morning for the past 4 days. lol

are you referring to the egg white(s), cottage cheese, and oatmeal bits of heaven party in my mouth extravaganza?
 
Someone please explain to me how you turn egg whites, cottage cheese and oatmeal into waffles?

Do you cook the oatmeal or put in raw oats? How much of what...

I'm intrigued.
 
just raw oats.

a cup of oatmeal, just regular oats....

a cup of egg whites

and a cup of cottage cheese

blend it all up, that's probably where the confusion was. so blend it up and you get pancake-esque batter, it's actually a little bit watery, not as thick as typical batter.

then go about it the same as pancakes, or waffles, if you have a waffle maker. tastes great and whats a better meal than egg whites, cottage cheese and oatmeal, hell yeah

That's an outrage to cottage cheese. How dare you defile the wonderfulness of cottage cheese by blending it into the wonderful sweet concoction of waffles.

That being said, what happened to the days of good ol' flour waffles with maple syrup?
 
Spending some time in China sounds kinda' cool; I could actually use my Mandarin I learned in school.

I suppose if I ever get the urge, I could go teach English in China.
