Sport Salt water flush?

Sport Fitness
I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post this, but I literally signed up today and I'm still getting into it.
Anyway, does anyone have info regarding the negative aspects of doing this flush? I've done it multiple times w/o any problems, but something doesn't seem totally "right" about doing it. The idea of flushing probiotic bacteria doesn't sound healthy at all. Most of the SWF sites acknowledge the need to ingest probiotics immediately after, but don't recommend how much or what happens if you choose not to. If you're not familiar w/ the flush check out the instructions at this site- which I can't link because I haven't made 15+ posts yet...cool

sounds like a line of bull**** to me. much like the 'colon cleanse' products, acai berries, etc...etc.

I wouldn't recommend a saltwater flush, ever. If you're eating whole, unprocessed foods, your body will already be fine. If you're not eating like that, a SWF won't fix anything.

Haha. Yea, I think I'll be better off sticking w/ fiber. I had a feeling that it wasn't the greatest idea from the sketchy reaction my body gave me after doing it the first time.

You don't need to "flush" but once or twice a year. Escpecially if you are eating plenty of dark green leafy veggies and a moderate intake of organic fruits. Also be sure to eat white fish at least three times a week.
