Sport Salads vs. Vegetables for lower ab fat

I'm just curious, I know that getting great abs is done in the kitchen and with what you eat. I was just wondering if it's possible to make it happen, if you don't eat salads? If instead, you are eating things like brocoli and green beans, etc. with your meals? I just can't seem to aquire a taste (Or even really eat for that matter) salad, even with using different dressings. So I don't eat them. But would I still be able to eventually see a difference in my abs if I'm eating vegetables and not a lot of fried and fatty foods (if at all)?
 
Yeah green beans and brocoli are excellent. Salad fill you up without too many calories so they effectively help cut down overall calorie intake. I guess boiled brocoli and green beans can do the same.
