Whole grain breads, cereals and pastas. Lean beef, chicken breasts, shrimp, lean turkey burgers, crab meat, tons of veggies, oatmeal, eggs, 1 or 2% milk and cottage cheese. Whole grain brown rice. Olive Oil, natural peanut butter, nuts, seeds, olive, fish oils, flaxseeds and flaxseed oil and salmon for your fats. Only 1/3 of your fat intake should come from saturated fats. Stay away from trans fats. The list goes on and on. You need to decide what your goals are (bulking or cutting), figure out your calorie requirements and plan out your meals with the foods listed to meet your calorie and macrnutrient requirements.

on crab meat: shellfish is high in cholesterol. and, imitation crab meat is NOT an option...has more carbs/sugar than it has protein.

lean meats like chicken/turkey breast. I prefer skim milk.

I watched a program on the Food Network about how they make imitation crab...it made me want to stick to natural foods even more than I do.

Most of the stuff Falco1 named is goood.

I would reccomend learning how to cook a bit, once you learn basic things, it's not hard to combine foods with spices and other foods to create interesting dishes. Cooking is a good skill, it helps if you get bored of your diet, you can try new ways to (healthily) dress up something you might be starting to get bored of.
