Coke would be probably better and some recomend it after first half of the marathon. Remember coffein causes dehydration and it may be difficult for you when running.
When I ran my first marathon I had one redbull prior the race, one during the race + some of the energy gel with coffein and when the race was over it was diarrhea that troubled me more then my sore legs
