Running

I hate running, always have; but I want to get better at it.

I am 5'8'' 150lbs with a mesomorphic build. My status as a student leaves my little time to train physically, so I am extremely 'out of shape' in terms of cardiovascular performance and endurance. I often get cramps when running which almost always kills my motivation, which is already under strain from just running in general.

Can I get some advice, and possibly a framework of a working training regimen that does not take very much time per day.. I'm talking less than two hours if possible.

Anything you have to offer would be appreciated!

What do you want? To learn how to build up running? A workout regime for cardiovascular fitness? To become more fit overall?

In short: yes. all of the above.

My primary goal, though, is to improve overall endurance with an emphasis on running.

those articles might help too, thanks

about.com has great series of running programs such as 3 weeks to a 30 minute running habit. Its a great starter program and is free.

Obviouf you start running a few days per week for 30 minutes or so you will quickly start to improve. Start slowly, run for a bit, then walk for a bit and gradually increase the amount of running time.
