Running with a hat on?

I found these lighted runners hats and I like the idea for running early in the morning. Problem is that I have never run with a hat on before. Does it make a differnce? Does it keep heat in more?

I always run with my hat on.... keeps sweat/sun out of my eyes.

I run a lot with a hat and yes it does keep the heat in much more. No big difference just comes down to a personal preference I suppose.
If extremely hot it seems to make me overheat faster sometimes.

I don't run with a hat, but my hair hits me in the face, and sweat drips of it, I would recommend trying it!

hmm, i never thought of that. perhaps it would keep a lot of hair/sweat out of my face.. although it would make me sweat more, it would seem hotter.

You could always take the hat off? Or fill it with cold water before the run, then when it's damp go running.

i went out for an hour and a half run. and i wore my light-weight camoflage hat. and it prooved to work rather well, because i have hair down to my nose. if i woulda not worn the hat my hair woulda been all over the place/ in my face/ anoying me. it def. keeps in heat i took it off a couple times to air my head off after that i was fine.

Get, the lighted hat im sure it will come in very handy. esp in the morning when theres no cars out and you cant see anything!

thanks for the tips - I am gonna get one of those hats - they look to have mesh backing so that will help too
